Chapter Seven

I wake up in a bed that is beyond comfortable. The bed seems to form around my body and is so soft against my naked skin. The covers feel like clouds covering me with a possessive hand on my hip. I turn my head to see over my shoulder to look at the man who is holding my hip. Colby is fast asleep, his breathing deep. I slowly turn to face the man who was meant for me. My mind screams out, Mine, and I know it’s true. I haven’t known him more than of couple days, but I knew the minute I saw him that he was mine. I reach out and draw my fingers down the side of his face. How can I feel so much for someone I barely know? How can he hold my heart in the palm his hands already?

“You think to much. Your mind is so loud,” Colby says with his eyes still closed. He grabs my hand as I stop touching him and am trying to pull my hand back. Colby pulls me closer to him, wrapping his arms around me as I am pressed against his chest. He is also very naked, the evidence is pressed hard into my belly. I gasp feeling him stiffen more as I lay stock still against him. Colby captures my mouth with his with a playful nip. “I’m always going to have this ragging hard-on around you. You should get used to it,” he says as his hand slides down until his palm is flat against my butt. He squeezes with a groan and smacks that cheek causing a sting that makes me moan.

A knock at the door brings me out of my sexual haze that Colby is the sole cause of. Colby’s hand grabs the discarded blanket by our knees and brings it up to my chin, covering me so my naked body is under the dark red covers.

“Hey, guys, I know it’s still kind of early but we have visitors,” Sophie’s voice says from the other side of the door. I pull my head under the covers. Does everyone know we are in here together? “So you two should get dressed and get to the library.” She giggles at the end before I hear her walking away.

“You can come out from under the covers now, love,” Colby says. I hear the amusement in his voice without even looking at him. I grumble as I roll off the other side of the bed, taking the covers with me. “You know that everyone knows we are mates? There is no reason to hide it,” Colby says from the bed. I turn to look at him and he is still in the same spot. His naked body is on full display now that I took the covers. His body is pure temptation just laying out like a chocolate buffet to feast on. He knows it to, from the smirk that is on his lips. I drop the covers from around me, two can play this game.
